Club Pilates Carrollwood will be celebrating their 3-Year Anniversary in January. They’ll have great specials available to members and new members as well as free giveaways and health vendors. If you’ve been interested in learning more about Pilates, now is an excellent time to do so.

During the past 3 years Club Pilates has gained a devoted and loyal following in Carrollwood.

“I love this place! I’ve tried almost all the niche studios and this has been by far my favorite (and most affordable),” said Robin D. “I don’t think at the end of a workout class I’ve ever said, ‘it’s already been an hour, can I stay for the next class?’ The classes vary so you never get bored, and no matter your fitness level, the instructors explain every move, help you as needed and explain the reason behind each exercise–what you’re working, why the right form is important. I do triathlons and Pilates has helped me with all three, getting stronger. It’s also helped me in day-to-day. Better posture and much less ‘morning soreness’ when waking up. Highly recommend checking out a class, but be warned, it’s incredibly addictive!” Bobbi writes-“I love it. It’s a total body workout. So much core strengthening. I have no more neck & back pain. All exercises can be modified, so all can do it. Teachers are all different but great workouts. My favorite is Wednesday morning cardio sculpt with Michaela.”

Owners Nathan and Ayesha Philyaw love hearing comments like that from Club Pilates members and looks forward to spreading the joy and benefits of Pilates to new members in 2020. Both Nathan and Ayesha have worked in the healthcare industry for years as pharmacist but wanted to start a business that would help people stay healthy. “Club Pilates offers a chance for people to put their health first and to take care of themselves. It is time that you can give back to you. It has been a wonderful helping members achieve their fitness goals and building relationships in the community.”

Pilates is a great exercise class that can really make a difference in your health and physique without taking a toll on your body. All classes at Club Pilates incorporate the reformer machine, which allows your body to work with resistance that can make you stronger and leaner in less time. Even though Pilates exercises concentrate on your core, it conditions the whole body, even down to your ankles and feet. Over time you’ll gain leaner muscles and more flexibility. If you’ve never tried the Reformer machine, you’ll be amazed at how strong you’ll feel after one class.

Pilates is good for people of all ages and different levels of fitness. It can even help you recover from a sports injury and prevent future ones. Nathan says they have members as young as 12 and as old as 80 who come to the classes at Club Pilates in Carrollwood

“Great instructors and staff, clean facility and convenient schedules,” said Lisa C. “Every class is a challenging but rewarding workout. I especially appreciate that the instructors are great about adjusting to seamlessly accommodate individual’s needs and injuries while maintaining a great overall flow to the class. After a month of attending classes regularly, I feel so much better and I can definitely say that Club Pilates is an addictive game changer!”

Club Pilates offers classes for beginners to advance and has private training for those looking to take their practice to the next level. There are only 12 participants in each 50-minute class so even during the group classes you’ll get plenty of personal attention. If you’re new to Pilates you can take a free intro class to introduce you to the Reformer machine and proper technique.
