    The staff at Maloney’s Irish Pub gives the word local a new meaning. Many of the employees, including owners Wingard and Pfeiffer, are Tampa natives. Tony, the chef at Maloney’s, has resided in Carrollwood for over twenty-two years. “We are happy to be in the area,” he says. 

    You’ll feel right at home in their 12904 North Dale Mabry Highway location, which is the third of its kind in the Tampa Bay Area. Maloney’s has two other convenient locations, one in the Westchase area and one in Downtown Tampa. Winged and feiffer opened Maloney’s Carrollwood location back in January of 2016, and it quickly became a top stomping ground for many locals in the area.

    Local Guide and frequent customer Charles E. says, “This is my go-to place in the neighborhood. The bartenders are friendly and caring. The live music is always fun. The food is consistently good, and top quality. They have the usual Irish fare along with fantastic appetizers, burgers, wings, huge sandwiches and a nice selection of entrees. They also offer some great food specials, as well as plenty of drink specials too. They do the “local pub,” exactly right.” While another regular, Cheryl W. says, “This is my favorite local pub. Awesome service, very relaxes, plenty of high definition TV’s for sports and cute little ducklings to watch by the pond if you’re sitting outside. I love how the staff remembers who you are and what you normally order to drink, and they are on point every time.”

    Maloney’s has everything on the menu from traditional Irish fare to gourmet pub dishes. Among their most loved entrees are Shepard’s pie, burgers, wings, and fish n’ chips. The jumbo wings come in a variety of unique flavors including Asian Sweet Ginger, Mango Habanero and Chipotle Jalapeno. Customers can scarf down on the juicy “burger of the month,” which changes every thirty days. Vegans and vegetarians are not excluded as Maloney’s Irish Pub has hummus, a veggie burger and many delicious salads on the menu. 

    The kitchen is open until midnight on weeknights and until 1:00 am on weekends, giving customers the opportunity to stop by for a delicious meal and a cold beer after regular restaurant hours. Patrons are welcome from 11 am to 3 am all week long. The fun doesn’t stop there though, as Happy Hour lasts from 3 pm to 7 pm Monday through Friday.

    Guests can stick to their go-to drink order or venture out and try a new one with liquors from Maloney’s fully stocked bar. Choose from specialty beverages including but not limited to the Irish Manhattan, Moscow Mule, Celtic Cosmo, Old Fashioned and The Maloney. Shots and drafts are also listed on the menu.

    Inside the pub sits a long, spacious bar top. Whether you have a party of two or a party of ten, Maloney’s is happy and prepared to accommodate. Customers can also dine on one of the many tables available for seating indoors or outside on the patio.
