About a year and a half ago, Dr. Reut Bardach opened an OBGYN practice to “be around people and help take care of women that are really happy to see [her].” After talking to women all day as an obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Bardach created the idea that she wanted to offer total and “complete care for women.” This led to the opening of Orange Blossom Aesthetics, a medspa that offers a plethora of beauty services for women.
Dr. Bardach earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and then went on to medical school where she earned her doctorate’s degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2008. After working as a board-certified and highly rated obstetrician and gynecologist at a hospital, Dr. Bardach realized she was “ready to be her own boss.” She opened up her own practice called Orange Blossom Women’s Group, to pursue her passion for being an OBGYN that she has had since she was a kid. Dr. Bardach realized that she wanted to be able to help women with more than just the world of obstetrics and gynecology, which inspired her to open Orange Blossom Aesthetics. “All day long I talk to women about problems they have, the things that bother them and the things that they struggle with. The more you listen to women talk about [these problems] the more you say, I wish there was more that I could do to help and that is how the idea of owning a medspa was born.”
Orange Blossom Aesthetics is located right next to Orange Blossom Women’s Group, off of Little Road and Photonics Drive. Dr. Bardach chose to open the med spa in the Trinity area because the city is very up and coming and is “lacking in terms of women’s care and women’s services.” Since Trinity is an area that is rapidly growing both residentially and commercially, there “is a role that the med spa can play in the community.” Walking into Orange Blossom Aesthetics, all the staff works very hard to “treat people with respect, professionalism, and courtesy. We value people’s time just like they value our time.” All staff members are very efficient, making sure that patients are seen at their appointment time, and are given the best quality care.
The spa offers an array of services to help women feel beautiful inside their skin. The most popular treatment offered by Orange Blossom are neurotoxins such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, which are all prescription medicines that help to improve aging skin. “These products paralyze the muscles in the face so that you can not wrinkle the face, and [also works to] soften the muscles underneath the skin to help as part of an anti-aging process,” Dr. Bardach said. The idea is to address fine lines and wrinkles as you age instead of “trying to chase it down and catch up to it when it is too late.”
There are always several estheticians on staff to offer many different facial services to women of all ages. Orange Blossom offers specialty facials, teen facials, back facials, and chemical peels. They also offer Hydrafacials, which is a more advanced facial technique. Hydrafacials are a multi-step process that cleanses and exfoliates the skin, as well as extracting debris from your pores to leave you with “the best skin of your life.” The Hydrafacial also infuses and protects your skin with antioxidants and peptides, to leave your skin healthy and glowing. Another aesthetic offering is microdermabrasion, which uses a diamond-tipped wand to “help clear the skin, clear the pores, and help with fine lines, wrinkles, acne, and scarring on the face.”
Orange Blossom Aesthetics also offers full-body services such as body contouring “which is a general term that describes different applications to help with fat reduction.” It is a nonsurgical procedure that can remove fats from people’s abdomens, love handles, buttocks, thighs, arms, etc. Many women struggle with stretched out skin and unwanted fat from pregnancy so the procedure “helps [women] retighten the muscles, eliminate the fat and tighten the skin in those areas so they can have their body back.” Some other services available to patients are laser services such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), which works to help improve your skin condition or even remove unwanted hair, and massage therapy sessions.
The relaxing med spa also helps with medical problems that women may face as they age. For women who are struggling with urinary incontinence, the medspa offers Emsella, which is a “chair that contracts the pelvic floor muscles” to help prevent a ‘leaking urine.’ This nonsurgical procedure works to improve bladder leakage but allows women to remain comfortable and fully clothed during the procedure.
With the holidays quickly approaching, Orange Blossom Aesthetics is offering many specials. During the next couple of weeks, there are amazing discounts on the products that are used during many of the treatments. “Everything is pumpkin spice exfoliation and pumpkin spice face masks so people really get the feel of the holidays for the fall.” As Christmas time creeps up, the spa offers many deals during the month of December to get yourself beautiful and confident for the holidays. “Everything will be discounted; Botox, Xeomin, fillers and laser treatments [for example], so husbands can buy their wives the gift of youthful appearing skin, and so women can spend some time and energy on themselves.”
