A woman assessing a property for real estate investment discovered two dogs without shelter in the backyard, one of which was severely underweight in Oklahoma City.
During an inquiry, the police located a significantly emaciated Weimaraner in the backyard and brought it to the vet along with the owners. According to court records, the owners became confrontational, and the vet retained the dog because they were unable to pay.
Investigators revealed that the dog owners had received fines and warnings from animal welfare on multiple occasions. Presently, Dustin McClure is in jail facing charges of animal cruelty, and Tabitha McClure, his wife, has also been charged.
